Not only did we have the grand finale of “Where’s Iain?” where Paul and Alex finished on a draw, we had NCSR MasterMind and a bonus show called NCSR EXTRA featuring back-to-back song requests. We were live not only in your earholes but also visually, with a live feed from The Studio broadcast to the Common Room so you could see exactly what we got up to while making the show. Hopefully, today’s show will pave the way for things to come as we move from a pre-recorded broadcast to a live show from now on.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the show – be it by requesting a song, being a guest interviewee, posting shout-outs and messages through our letterbox or if you just sat in the Common Room and listened to Paul and Alex babble on in betwen top tracks. We hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did.

Not only will you get the full, live show during lunchtime with all your favourite features (including the grand finale of “Where’s Iain?”), we’ve decided that, because of the overwhelming number of requests we’ve had sent into us, we’re going to broadcast a special one-off show called NCSR EXTRA during Workshop. On NCSR EXTRA, we’ll be playing all the requests that you’ve asked us to play non-stop so make sure you’re down in the Common Room for as long as possible to see if we play your song!

Everyone here at NCSR is literally so excited about moving from a pre-recorded broadcast to a live session so, to kick things off with a bang, we’re advancing our schedule and the confirmed date for the next broadcast is Wednesday 19 May. Don’t forget to put it in your diaries and be down in the Common Room to see how it all unfolds.

We’ve got loads of things planned, including the final of “Where’s Iain?” (Alex and Paul are neck-and-neck at the minute, so it really is anyone’s game!) and a special one-off feature which you’ll only find out about if you’re in the Common Room on the 19th.
